This special project, the blog, was initially set up as a subject assignment, focused on the subject of culture. We dig out various types of culture, extraordinary beautiful ways of life, not just locally but globally. Thus we call ourselves ' THE ANTHROPISTS : The Cultural Diggers'. Nevertheless, each day we find and learn new and interesting stuffs, that we would love to share with everyone. So, hop on and follow us on the journey around the globe! JOM!
THE DIGGERS
ASVENI DEVI
Hello World! To start off with my Introduction, I’m Asveni Devi Rajagopal or better known as Ash. I am 21 this year and I am from Penang, Malaysia - A state which embraces modernity while retaining its traditions and old world charm. To speak more about myself, I am a jovial girl and you can hardly see me angry. But that doesn’t mean I don’t get angry, well who doesn’t? I love reading story books, the creepier and more mysterious it is, the more intrigued I am to read it. Rather than plain boring story line, I prefer something adventurous and interesting. Besides reading, I love listening to Music. For me, good music is the best medicine to soothe a wounded heart. Alright, let’s not get emo. Besides books and music, the thing that I LOVE to do is to SLEEP! Yaayyyy! Nothing can be as fun as sleeping. It’s just you in your dream world, where anything is possible, ANYTHING. Far far away from reality. To keep it short, Welcome to our blog, and hope you enjoy reading our blog as well as acquiring new information. Thank you!
THIBAHTARUSINI
OLA EVERYBODY! I'm Thibahtarusini Arumugam. If that is a tad too long for you, call me Thibah or Thibs. I'm 21 and from the paradise, Penang, Malaysia. I like alot of things. I like to read, I write, I like photography, Arts comes natural, I'm a real foody, and I'm the queen of sleeps. I play Kabaddi as an official sport for Penang and played for National once , in case you are wondering, Kabaddi is an indian traditional game and i'm loving it! It's a part of my culture. The culture we are in have become part and parcel of ourselves. It's the social law, something we are born into and as we grow we see, hear and learn new things, we adapt and become more mature. In this blog, we show you as much as we can how different the world can be, how one culture is different from another and how colourful each of us can be. Let's celebrate our uniqueness!!
AARON LIM
Hi, I'm Aaron Lim. I'm the 2nd child in my family. I lived in a quite but sometimes noisy neighbourhood (Chinese festival always got "kotai", what to do?). People around me says that I talk a lot (maybe, maybe not). I'm always a happy go lucky person, but I'm also a little shy. I love Mathematics but I'm bad at mental calculation. Lastly, I have a big secret about myself that I can only tell to my family and closest friends. That's all I can say and May God Bless You!
ALEX
What up peeps? Yes, it is I, Jin Chyuan, who is still alive for 19 years, will provide you some cookies and coke drinks. You can call me Alex or JC in short. Like my other crazy friends here, I am from Penang too. Nevertheless, let us welcome and amuse you into this amazing realm of the culture that exist in our universe. Welcome and thank you for everything!
